Ladies Rape Defence Course - two days of training, 8 grueling hours and STILL emotion gets the better of us. As a mother myself, I knew exactly how to make Lynne crack. I knew that bringing her daughter there creates a totally different dynamic. It doesnt matter how strong you are, you will never survive a rape attack (or any attack for that matter) if you cant get control of your mind and emotions. Its that exact reason why we have to bring reality to our training. Its why we have to push our students right to the edge, torment them, try to get them to crack… because I would rather they crack in safe place than in a real life situation. Its that mental fortitude that needs to be developed. Prayers and thoughts are with every single woman who has gone through and survived a rape attack.
